In order to create a subscription form you need to go to “ API & Form ” and click on “Create Form”. In this article, we’ll give you step by step instructions to help you get started and collect more subscribers.
Under the heading “General” page, enter a name that describes the form. This is ONLY used to keep your forms apart of your account and won’t be used or shown on your subscription form.
In contacts field you get to choose which fields you want to include on your subscription form. Note that e-mail address is a mandatory field and will be included on all subscription forms. You get to choose to include first name and last name.
Attributes are also optional to include in a subscription form, however we recommend that you use attribute in order to gain as much information as you can about your customers.
List and Sender
The information provided in this section will be public and visible on your subscription form.
Choose which list you want your subscribers to be added to, the name of the list will be presented on the subscription form. Choose a relevant name that’s presentable and somewhat linked to the subject you will use in your newsletter.
Choose a presentable name to display as the sender in your newsletters. Note that company name or your own name has shown to be connected to high open rates.
Choose a presentable e-mail address to display as the “from” address. We recommend that you use a functional e-mail address instead of a no-reply address.
The confirmation mail is sent out to new subscribers so that they can confirm their subscription. We strongly recommend that you write a personal mail so your subscribers doesn’t miss out on important information.
We give you the opportunity to use a custom landing page and write a custom text for the submit button.
Set a custom webpage that the new subscriber is sent to if he/she fills out the form correctly. This only works if you include the form on your own site, not if you link to the form on Get a Newsletter.
