Editing a contact has its advantages, you can add important information about your customer that you’ve missed during previous import. Note that every contact that’s added to the system is given a unique ID number in our database. This means that even if you delete the contact and import it again it will be counted as an existing contact, the system detects restore its ID-number.
To edit a contact, go to “Contacts” and click on the e-mail address that belongs to the customer. Once you’re in the edit page you can change customer name, e-mailadress and add a new attribute or subscription. Add attribute information by clicking on the icon that visualizes a pen. You may also see if there has been any bounces lately and the reason for it.
The subscriptions are there not only to be added, you can also delete or cancel a current subscription by clicking on “Edit” next to the subscription (in the subscription field). Note that you can’t reactivate a cancelled subscription.
Once you’re done, you click on either “save and return” in order to return to your contact overview or cancel to delete all new changes.
